Computers, telephones and laptops, relay antennas, low-voltage light bulbs… Many devices emit waves, the effects of which can be dangerous for our health. To place depolluting plants to fight against the waves: a 100% organic and 100% intelligent idea.

Can plants interfere with the wifi network?

It should be remembered that many studies have been conducted on the effects of waves on health.

Some have suggested in the past that prolonged exposure may, even at low intensities, have some effects on the metabolism of simple systems (chicken embryos, nerve cells in culture, etc.).

How does it work?

Acting as a filter, the depolluting plants clean the air around us. Thanks to their leaves, they absorb the bad electromagnetic waves and the different types of pollutants present in our interiors.

Glues, waxes, paints, deodorizers, wood chips, insulation, carpets or wallpaper, pollutants from these products are omnipresent in the atmosphere. It is the same in textiles, tobacco and all other types of combustion …

The cactus: the plant to capture electromagnetic waves

You can choose between two varieties: the cactus (Cereus peruvianus) or the jade tree (Crassula ovata). Both will bring you a solution to “capture” the waves, while producing oxygen at night and without releasing carbon dioxide during the day. In short, everything you need to enjoy modern life… without any impact on your health.

According to the National Institute of Industrial Environment and Risks (Ineris) and the University of Picardie Jules Verne (UPJV), the waves would be absorbed through the spines of cacti. But not all scientific studies are unanimous on this question. Our advice: install a cactus near your computer at home, or even at the office!

Where to place the anti-wave plants?

Since your primary goal is to fight against electromagnetic waves, favour rooms with a lot of appliances such as the kitchen, living room, dining room, office and bedroom for those who can’t resist the temptation to install a TV or computer there!

Be careful on one point though: cacti need lots of light to thrive. Preferably place them in front of a window or a large natural light source.

How to maintain these depolluting greasy plants?

The airwaves, we know that, you live with it all the time… But the cactus, difficult to know its tastes! You should know that it consumes little water, so there is no need to water it every day. Like the camel and the dromedary, it stores water to avoid evaporation. Moistening the potting soil once a month is more than enough in winter.

And the rest of the year, stay moderate all the same! Finally, in winter, leave it at a temperature of at least 50°F, which will allow it to flower in summer. Magnificent flowers will then appear. Enough to delight your eyes … while staying connected!

Summary

Whether at the office or at home, we are exposed to the airwaves. Cell phones, computers, relay antennas… The devices – which we use every day – emitting waves are numerous.

Their effects can be dangerous for our health. Indeed, they can affect the quality of our sleep, thermal regulation … So to cope with these waves, a new plant trend has recently emerged: anti-wave plants to place at home.
